Creating an event type
Event types are used to better organize your agenda and identify what events you will have in the coming days, weeks or months. Thus, an event type can be a meeting, a webinar, an online course, etc.
You can assign a certain availability to each of them, for example:
- You can set the meetings only on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10.00 to 11.00.
- The webinar can be a one-time event that will only take place on Monday, December 12th.
- The online course can be an event that takes place every Tuesday from 15.00 to 18.00.
Steps for creating an even type
To create these types of events, do the following:
1.- Access the "Calendar" section of your InboxPro’s dashboard.
2.- In the next screen click on "Event Types" and then on "New event type".
3.- Fill in the fields: name, duration, location...
4.- Use the advanced options to limit your availability: what days and times and until when they can meet with you.
(*) Important: if you do not fill in these options, the ones you have configured globally in "Availability" will be taken by default. For more information on how to set up your availability see the article "Calendar overview" or "Setting up your default availability".
