How to enable browser notifications

In order to use the full functionality of InboxPro’s, such as push notifications in your browser, they need to be enabled within Google Chrome. 

Steps for enabling browser notifications

Usually, they are enabled by default but if for some reason you have changed this option previously or just want to check if they are enabled, do the following:

1.- Click on the 3 dots that appear in the address bar of your browser.

2.- When the menu appears click on "Settings".

3.- On the next screen click on “Privacy and security” and then “Site settings”.

4.- Choose the option "View permissions and data stored across sites" in the next screen and then choose the applications for which you want to enable notifications (Gmail and then InboxPro’s).

5.- Check the “Allow” option in “Notifications”.

And you will now have your browser notifications for Gmail and InboxPro’s services active.

(*) Important: for more information on how to disable push notifications, please refer to the article "Enabling/Disabling push notifications". Also, remember that enabling push notifications in your browser is a prerequisite for InboxPro's tracking tool to work properly  with the InboxPro’s tracking tool.
