How checkmarks work in Gmail
Checkmarks in Gmail
When you install the InboxPro’s Chrome extension, new features will appear within Gmail when you click on the Compose button: Magic Compose, Tracking, Schedule, Calendar, Templates, Sequences and Signatures.
The "checkmark" icon will be activated when you are using InboxPro's "Tracking" functionality, i.e.:
- Notification: to receive notifications when you send an email.
- Link tracking: to know when a link is clicked (only available in "Pro" and "Advanced" plans).
- Track email: to keep track of the emails you send but not to receive notifications directly in Gmail but to consult the data later in your InboxPro’s dashboard.
And a checkmark icon will also appear in your inbox right next to the e-mail recipient.
Both functions are related and, therefore, when you are keeping track of an e-mail, each check will light up in blue in these cases:
→ First check: when an e-mail is delivered.
→ Second check: when an e-mail is opened.
Thus, you will be able to quickly and without going to your InboxPro’s dashboard to consult this data.
(*) Important: for more information on how to use the "Tracking" tool, see the article "Tracking overview".
