How to install InboxPro and required permissions
Installing InboxPro is very simple, just follow these steps:
- Install the Chrome extension from this link or click "Install for free" from the app page to connect Gmail with InboxPro and pin the icon to the navigation bar so it is always visible.
- Go to inboxpro.io, click on "Sign In" and use your Gmail credentials to register. You will then have access to the InboxPro configuration dashboard.
- Log in to your Gmail account and when the welcome pop-up appears click "Enable" to activate your account.
Permissions required to use InboxPro
In order to work properly, InboxPro will ask you for permissions to:
- Read, send and receive e-mails: to send e-mails and provide you with e-mail and link tracking functionality.
- View, edit, download and permanently delete your contacts: so that when you use the e-mail sending form your updated contacts appear.
- Access basic Gmail settings: to change your e-mail signature, nickname, or even unsend an e-mail.
- View, edit, share and permanently delete your Google Calendar calendars: to synchronize your calendars with InboxPro calendars and ensure that there is a real time availability.
Of course, all your data will be kept strictly confidential and access to these features will only be used to extend the capabilities of Gmail.
